How it works
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the retailer may pay us a small percentage of the sale. You pay exactly the same price you would have paid otherwise.
This is how the site is funded. It’s what lets us spend time reading warranty documents and chasing manufacturers for figures they’d rather not publish.
What it does not change
Recommendations are based on fit, usefulness and relevance to big and tall readers — never on commission alone. Specifically:
- A higher commission rate does not get a product onto a list, or move it up one.
- We recommend products that pay us nothing when they’re the right answer.
- We say when a product is a poor fit even where we’d earn from the sale.
- Brands cannot pay for a review, a ranking or a rating.
Where disclosures appear
Any page containing affiliate links carries a disclosure near the top, before the first link, in line with the US Federal Trade Commission’s endorsement guides.
Programmes we participate in
This section will list each affiliate programme once we have actually joined it. At the time of writing we are not yet enrolled in any affiliate programme, and no page on this site currently contains affiliate links.

Prices change constantly and we can’t keep up with all of them. Any price mentioned is indicative and was accurate when written. Always check the retailer’s current price before buying.
