Privacy Policy

What ratedto.com collects, why, and what you can do about it.

The short version

We don’t sell your personal information. We don’t ask you to create an account. We collect the minimum needed to run the site and understand which guides are useful.

What we collect

  • Server logs. Our host records IP address, browser, referring page and timestamps as part of normal operation and security.
  • Analytics. Aggregated statistics about pages viewed and how visitors arrive, used to decide what to write next.
  • Anything you send us. If you email us or submit a form, we keep that message so we can reply.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies may be set for site functionality, analytics, and by affiliate programmes to attribute a purchase to the site that referred it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

Third parties

Our hosting, content delivery, analytics and affiliate partners process data on our behalf or under their own policies. When you click an affiliate link you’re handed over to that retailer, and their privacy policy takes over from ours.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under the California Consumer Privacy Act and the UK/EU GDPR — you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, contact us.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes and contact

We’ll update this page when our practices change. Questions go to our contact page.
